  1. Is he one? says:

I used to love that band. The first 3 albums were actually killer.

    Now…. Meh. Generic.

  2. Kirill says:

actually first 2 and then his friendship with fred durst had shown up on the later work. thats what happens when you hang out with ppl like him instead of Trent Reznor

  3. Is he one? says:

    Well “Amalgamut” definitely rocks.

  4. CagedTiger says:

Damn, wish I was going to that show, 2 of my favourite bands!

I agree that Filter’s first three albums are the best along with the Army of Anyone album but Anthems for The Damned and The Trouble with Angels both had some decent tracks.

@Kirill, when was it stated that Tichard Patrick was good friends with Fred Durst?! I know he did a few songs with Wes Borland and that they are friends but never read anything about him hanging out with Fred.

  5. CagedTiger says:

Supposed to say RICHARD Patrick not Tichard lol.

  6. chicago_animal says:

First three were awesome! So you see Filter open the show at 8 and be done around 9 then wait three or four hours to see Axl and his backing band? Id rather see Filter then go enjoy Vegas then stand around for hours.

  7. lilrockable says:

Filter is badass, Considering Richard is still in top form vocal wise they may even outshine Guns N Roses. Either way I hope both bands play something new

  8. Rooster says:

    Good shot, man.

  9. CagedTiger says:

I doubt Guns will play anything new, I’m just glad they finally added ‘Estranged’ to the setlist, it’s such a beautiful and epic song and it was amazing to see them do it live when I saw them back in May. Filter might play some new stuff though as they have a new album coming out soon so they’ve definitely got new songs written.

  10. Jason says:

Guns added a few rarely played Chinese songs and a few new covers recently…They’ve been going on at 10:45 on the Wed shows and 11:45 on the weekend shows and playing over 3 hrs…we’re flying out next weekend to see them. Can’t wait!
