I went to see the Pumpkins 2000 I think at Wembley Arena (their at the time farewell UK show before splitting, with James Iha on guitar and Jimmy Chamberlain on drums) and they seemed to play all their songs really really fast.

I don’t know if anyone else had this same experience, is that simply what they do live?

$50 bucks for tickets to the Newport seems high to me. Am I wrong?

Skip the Pumpkins this time around. I’m sure you know by now that they play the whole new album. I think the new album is great but by doing that they kill the vibe in the audience. The audience sits on their hands for the first hour. I went to the Halloween weekend show in Boston.
