its so strange how he sounds similar to his brother, especially the high notes. awesome stuff!

  3. Eddy says:

These two tracks are awesome!! He sounds like a late 90s version of his younger brother. Damn, they should do some songs together!

  4. Kimberly says:

Love the stuff he did with Black Market Radio. He does sound a lot like Chris but he’s a talented musician in his own right. I agree with Eddy, it would be pretty awesome if he worked on something with Chris!

  5. Nicole Malczan says:

Wow, just wow. I’ve always loved Peter’s work, and this is no exception!

  6. Rick says:

he had a band called Grace before BMR that put out a couple demo CDs. if anyone’s interested, i’ll put mp3s up somewhere.

  7. Jake K. says:

Hey Rick, some mp3s of Grace would be great if you can do it.

  10. Elle says:

  15. Shadows Collide with People says:

Peter is good but Chris is better. No disrespect of course to Peter’s music at all. I dig it. Very Seattle-Soundgarden esque.

  16. GwynnKatie says:

Aged Scotch. Smooth. Liquid Voice. Irish Family Sound.
Nice. Did not know about him. Thank you.

  17. lilrockable says:

Wow madman is really good. I can’t believe I’ve never heard stuff from him before. Is he working on a solo album ?

  18. Ben says:

    @ lilrockable

Peter Cornell was in a band called Black Market Radio. You should check them out.
I was under the impressing that they had disbanded – however I may have been wrong or they may have just been on hiatus. They use to have a band website which is no longer online. However they have a band facebook page and this is where I found the link to the stream posted. So I assume that this is new music from his band BMR. It sounds like it is anyway.

  19. Rick says:

Grace was quite a bit more tame than BMR — kinda alt-roots-rock, almost like Toad The Wet Sprocket or Counting Crows, music-wise.

    i’ll upload tonight.

  20. Rick says:

both EPs/demos are selt-titled, so i tagged the second one as “II” just to avoid confusion:

    “Grace (1998)”

    “II (1999)”
