AC/DC or Aerosmith will perform at the wedding of Sergio Ramos and Pilar Rubio are on June 15th in Seville, Spain, AS.com reports.
Ramos is a Real Madrid defender, while Rubio is a model. They’ve been negotiating with AC/DC and Aerosmith, though Aerosmith right now appear to have the edge to get the high paying gig.
If AC/DC are booked, it could end up being Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd’s first show back with the band, as they’ve been in the studio recently working on a new album. It is unclear though if Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose though could still have involvement with AC/DC as a live act due to Johnson’s hearing issues.
Ramos and Rubio were on the on Spanish TV show El Hormiguero, and they revealed that the wedding would be a very private event.
“The guests will leave their mobiles and cameras behind as soon as they enter the farm so they can relax and enjoy themselves,” the said.
Rubio hinted at a big name wedding performer when she and Ramos first announced their engagement.
She said, “There’s going to be something very big but I can’t say what.
“I’m as excited about putting on my wedding dress as I am about what’s going to happen afterwards.”
