Alice In Chains‘ Museum of Pop Culture Founders Award Show will feature big names, including Eddie Vedder and Billy Corgan. Members of Nirvana, Jane’s Addiction, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, and Rage Against The Machine are also featured. Alice In Chains just revealed rare final Layne Staley album photos.

The full lineup includes: Metallica, Billy Corgan, Korn, Ann Wilson, Duff McKagan, Corey Taylor, Nancy Wilson, Dave Navarro and Chris Chaney, Mark Lanegan, Taylor Hawkins, Mastodon, Krist Novoselic, members of Soundgarden with Tad Doyle and Mike McCready, Dallas Green, Lily Cornell Silver, Fishbone, Aaron Jones, Bill Herzog, Bubba Dupree, and more will perform. Eddie Vedder, Jeff Ament, Les Claypool, Robert Downey Jr., Sammy Hagar, Tom Morello, and Vernon Reid will make special appearances.

Billy Corgan is keeping busy during the pandemic, with Smashing Pumpkins releasing a new album called CYR next week. He also just wrote on social media, as transcribed by Alternative Nation, “I need your help with something…Out of nowhere I’m getting lots of messages about a Machina reissue on vinyl. There is NO reissue. This is a bootleg and like many recent bootlegs, designed to look real and take advantage of retail portals that will look the other way and sell them as ‘authentic.’

So please help us flag these products as they not only harm fans but they muddy the waters for legitimate efforts on our part to bring you the best we have to offer. I’ve worked on the pending Machina reissue for YEARS.

And yes, Universal, the parent company for Machina, has been notified. But the best pressure comes from you to help call out retailers who keep listing these products as ‘legitimate’ and thereby ripping off fans.” Billy Corgan recently dropped a Dave Grohl and Alice In Chains bombshell.
