Alice In Chains singer/guitarist shared a poster on Instagram revealing a concert AIC played with Pearl Jam, then known as Mookie Blaylock, in 1990, and with Velvet Revolver guitarist Dave Kushner. Kushner was a bandmate and good friend of the late great Scott Weiland.

Cantrell wrote on Instagram, “Saw our friend Dave Kushner at the premiere of Hervé last night. He sent me a pic of these hand bills from the club with no name. Those early gigs were so fun in LA, great memories. Just landed in Mexico City and looking forward to rocking out tomorrow.”

Dave Kushner wrote, “Saw @jerrycantrell posted this. Always a great time hanging with you. Got these flyers today from @shepherd.stevenson from #pigmylovecircus and my band #electriclovehogs played with @aliceinchains and Mookey Blaylock who later changed their name to @pearljam damn! #1991 #goodtimes.”

Cantrell also recently wrote on Instagram, “At premiere for My dinner with Hervé , can’t wait to see it….. P.S a very moving and powerful film by Sacha Gervasi, Peter Dinklage’s portrayal of Herve Villechaize was deeply heartfelt, solid performances from the supporting cast. Well done.”

“Had a lot of fun making the comedy short Dad Band with with my good friend W. Earl Brown, Ted Kamp, Eric Stromer and Suzanne Friedline. #dadband https://youtu.be/31PrzVpMktE here’s the link.”
