Original Smashing Pumpkins Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin performed their first full length show in Chicago since December 2000 on Monday night at the sold out United Center.
Fans seemed to mostly think the concert was incredible, with one fan hilariously thinking Billy Corgan’s driving force at the show was to go ‘twice as hard’ as fellow Grunge era surviving singer Eddie Vedder, and he seemed to think it worked. I was admittedly skeptical about how much I'd enjoy a 3+ hour arena show from a band I really haven't listened to that much since high school, but The Smashing Pumpkins really brought it home tonight.

Just got out of the Smashing Pumpkins concert. They were not kidding when they said their set would be 3hrs. They played every 10min song they had, including Porcelina, which I loved.
