Blink-182 just recorded a new album with Tom DeLonge, but they also have an unheard new album with Matt Skiba.

Skiba told Vulture, “I don’t know if they’ll come out. I think they’re really good. But there’s almost a whole album’s worth of stuff. It was supposed to be an EP, and it just kept going, and going. And now we have, I don’t know if they’re just going to get scrapped, but there’s eight or nine brand-new songs that are done. We basically finished those, and then Mark was diagnosed, if I’m getting the timeline correct.

Honestly, until you mentioned it, I hadn’t even thought about those recordings. But I have them. They’re good songs. I’ll keep them a secret. I’ll keep them safe forever. But we’ll see. I don’t know, maybe they’re something that we could open up and look at differently, or it’s something that’ll come out later, I have no idea.”
Blink-182 recently announced the return of classic member Tom DeLonge, and released their first single with the singer/guitarist in over a decade with “Edging”.

Now, DeLonge took to Twitter to describe to fans what they can expect from the band’s upcoming album with the classic line-up. Tom wrote:

“The new @blink182 album has some of the most progressive, and elevated music we’ve ever had. In honesty, I am holding my breath for you to hear these other songs. ‘Edging’ is fun, and a perfect way to remind u of the fun again. But just u f***ing wait.”

One of the fans dropped a screengrab of the ticket-buying process and it has come to light that the tickets are quite expensive, with fans complaining on Reddit.

Tom DeLonge said, “So, this little trio has almost sold out the entire world in a few hours on the advanced ticketing opening… Jesus. Yes, I’m tripping. Adding new shows, extra dates in cities, those almost sold out completely yesterday, too… Tomorrow, the rest of the General tickets go on sale. Please try and come ❤️. Scalpers are going crazy on the ticket prices, sorry ugh… That isn’t us. @blink182.”
