Late Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington’s widow Talinda is continuing to have conversations with fans on social media. Talinda and Mike Shinoda’s wife Anna have recently been talking with fans on social media who have dealt with tragedy and mental health issues. This time, Talinda spoke to a fan named Melissa, who is dealing with suicidal thoughts following the suicide of her sister, and murder of her other sister. September is National Suicide Prevention Month. If you are dealing with mental health issues, you can call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255, or enter their live chat.

A fan named Melissa wrote to Talinda, “My sister committed suicide and my other sister was murdered six days apart in December and I deal with lots of demons I want to check out ?.”

Talinda responded, “You are loved more than you realize. Don’t check out.”

Melissa then said, “I appreciate your kind words from the bottom of my heart ❤️ it’s hard to not know what will happen when you battle your own mind ?.”

Talinda also made a post to mark the 6 week anniversary of Chester’s death. She tweeted, “6 weeks today. Feels like forever. I officially hate Thursdays- they’ll always be the marker of time.”

A fan named Binepina responded, “4 me it’s Wednesday, the day my son died by cancer, 21.10.92, he was only 9 years old.”

Talinda wrote to Binepina, “The only thing worse to me would be losing my child. My heart aches for you.”
