A fan wrote to Toni Karayiannis on Instagram, “Is NY the only place you have something planned for? We are 14 hrs away, but totally considering a road trip to be there. Chris has meant so much to so many all over, myself included. My heart is with you all!”
Karayiannis responded, “Should we tour?? Why not ? He came to you right?? Why not now as representatives come to you also.”
Many fans have been holding Cornell tribute concerts to pay tribute to the legendary singer, and fans have been hoping for more to honor him. Cornell’s 12-year old daughter Toni is said to be a rising talent musically, with her father’s talent clearly running in the family. Vicky Cornell said in a new People Magazine article, “She got his ear.” She added, “She plays all of these instruments without any lessons.”
Toni made her on stage singing debut on October 19, 2015 on the Higher Truth tour at the Beacon Theatre in New York. She joined her father on stage to cover Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song.”
Cornell said at the show, “I’m from Seattle, but she’s a New York City girl.”
Toni’s sister Lily is also aspiring to be in the family business according to her Instagram page, which describes her as a ‘manager and musician.’
Cornell’s son Christopher’s interest in music has yet to be described to the press.
