Chris Cornell’s widow Vicky, who has dealt with disgusting harassment and threats from people online since the death of her husband, discussed conspiracy theorists in a recent Twitter exchange.

Someone tweeted to Vicky, “Yes! ATIVAN did NOT cause his death. It IMPAIRED his thinking, personality, suicidal ideation. He was NOT coherent to make the right choices. As a REGISTERED NURSE X26 YRS, I know this about ATIVAN. I’m so sick of trolls questioning Vicky. LEAVE HER ALONE.”

Vicky wrote back, “Thank you so right and I will no longer be answering trolls and conspiracy theorists. Too much energy and oddly the one that was typing away all about my husband wasn’t following either him, Soundgarden, Temple or Audioslave….. odd for a ‘fan.'”

A fan recently tweeted to Vicky about Cornell’s new Johnny Cash collaboration “You Never Knew My Mind.” The fan said, “You can hear in his voice that he aspired to make it something Johnny would have approved of, and no doubt he did. I love that these two lyrical geniuses gave each other the ultimate musician’s compliment by covering each other’s songs. Thinking of YOU today Vicky..❤?”

Vicky responded, “How I hope he can hear me , ‘Yes my love he’s so proud!'”

Vicky Cornell, wife of iconic singer, songwriter and Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and Audioslave front man Chris Cornell, recently joined the Advisory Board at the Addiction Policy Forum. As a member of the Advisory Board, Vicky will be joining former Drug Czar General Barry McCaffrey and former Members of Congress Alan Mollohan and Frank Guinta.
