Corey Taylor has reacted on Twitter to an Ultimate-Guitar story claiming that he has been fired as the lead singer of Slipknot.

Taylor tweeted, “I wonder what day it is… 🤔”

Ultimate-Guitar’s April Fools headline is, “Chris Fehn Wins Lawsuit Against Slipknot, Fires Clown & Corey Taylor.”

The story states that Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds will take over for Taylor, especially after Taylor’s mean comments.

Ultimate-Guitar humorously wrote, “Reuters reports that Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn won the lawsuit he filed against his bandmates over ‘shady business dealings.’

As reported, the musician alleged that the band’s manager Robert Shore and his company managed the group to enrich percussionist Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan and singer Corey Taylor “out of proportion to the efforts and undivided interests of the other general partners.”

According to the legal documents, an investigation has provided evidence that Shore, Clown, and Taylor used six companies established without Fehn’s knowledge to siphon $143 million in royalties and merch sales.

In a statement released through the Des Moines Register, Fehn’s attorney Joel B. Rothman noted that his client was ‘lead by the nose’ thinking all members of the group were ‘being treated equally.'”
