Dave Grohl discussed Kurt Cobain’s brutally tragic funeral on a new BBC radio special, which was put together by his family including Courtney Love, who decided to play The Beatles classic “In My Life” at the memorial. Dave Grohl cried at a surprising concert a couple of days ago.

“It means a lot to me, because it was the song that was played at Kurt Cobain’s memorial. That day, after everyone had said their piece, this next song came over the speakers. And everyone got to celebrate Kurt’s love of The Beatles one last time together. Still to this day, when I hear it, it touches a place in me that no other song ever will. It’s called ‘In My Life’ and knowing how much of a fan Kurt was of The Beatles, and how much of an influence they were, to everything we’ve done ever done…I’d like to play this one for him.”

A Tool member took a brutal shot at Kurt Cobain last week. Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s old Seattle home is being sold for $7.5 million. A new listing states, “A perfectly maintained home of extraordinary presence situated upon a beautiful, park-like lot in the heart of Denny Blaine. Built in 1902, features a shingled exterior distinguished by expressive windows, stone accents & Queen Anne styling, completely updated throughout.

Gracious rooms enhanced by an open floor plan & fine millwork. Views of gardens, Lake Washington & Cascades. A stone’s throw from lake & the bustle of Madison Park. 15 min to downtown. A once in a lifetime opportunity!” Kurt Cobain died by suicide in the greenhouse of the home on April 5, 1994. The greenhouse was later demolished. Eddie Vedder broke his silence on Kurt Cobain over the weekend.
