At Pearl Jam’s show in Tampa Bay last night, Eddie Vedder discussed some painful losses he has gone through recently. Vedder noted that that everyone goes through that. It is part of living. Things can swing from bad to good and back again. The band then performed an emotional version of “Pendulum.”

On a lighter note, Vedder also saw a sculpture of a cow in the audience that he asked to be brought on stage. He said a sculpture of a cow sat on Stone Gossard’s amp for the band’s first two years of touring. He also remembered occasionally taking fast cars for drives when working security in San Diego, but said they didn’t compare to being driven by Matt Cameron playing drums.

Read John’s full recap and setlist of the show posted on the PearlJam.com forums by Sea.
