Eddie Vedder Is Teaming Up With Taylor Swift

Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder, Taylor Swift, Samantha Bee, Geena Davis, Billie Eilish, Melissa Etheridge, Jackson Browne, Sally Field, Salma Kayek, Joan Jett, Diane Lane, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman, Phish, Graham Nash, and other big names are set to participate in the first ever WMC Benefit Auction on November 9th to 15th. Howard Stern just revealed how Eddie Vedder risked his life onstage.

The Women’s Media Center, co-founded by Jane Fonda, Robin Morgan, and Gloria Steinem, is an inclusive and feminist organization that works to raise the visibility, viability, and decision-making power of diverse women and girls in media to ensure that their stories get told and their voices are heard.

The Center write, “We do this by researching and monitoring media; creating and modeling original online, print, and podcast content; training women and girls to be effective in media; and promoting women experts in all fields.”

Congresswoman Maxine Waters is on the board of directors with Fonda and Steinem. Mike McCready is also staying busy, as he is set to perform with The Black Tones at A SMASH Benefit for Musicians’ Health on November 22nd.

SMASH wrote in an announcement for the show, “We will feature an amazing lineup of local musicians celebrating Songs of Hope. You won’t want to miss out on this incredible night of virtual music in support of SMASH!”
