The seventy-year-old rocker had to cancel a show that was to be performed in Salt Lake City, Utah as Simmons took to social media via Twitter the let everyone know what was going on. Gene Simmons got ‘lucky’ with this woman in this new video.
“Apologies to the fans in Salt Lake City. We will come back and do the show at a later date. The truth is, I have to fly to LA to do a medical procedure. Nothing serious. But it must be taken care of now. Thank you for your good wishes. All is well.”\
Turns out that it was due to kidney stones as TMZ was given the following information about the KISS frontman’s health.
“Gene was admitted into Cedars-Sinai Hospital early Tuesday morning to undergo a medical procedure that should help get rid of the stones. It’s non-invasive, we’re told and only took about an hour to complete. A stent was inserted in his urethra, which helps urine flow from the kidney to the bladder, ultimately forcing the stones to pass through. The stent will be removed in about a week, and any remaining stones will be removed too. Gene should be good to go at that point.”
