Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash met with former bandmate Steven Adler last night in Los Angeles at the Whiskey for a John 5 concert following Adler’s recent criticism of GNR’s Not In This Lifetime tour. The meeting was friendly, with Rob Zombie also photographed with the original Guns N’ Roses members.

Steven Adler was very open about his disappointing experience with Guns N’ Roses on their ‘Not In This Lifetime’ tour in some interviews a few weeks ago with Mitch Lafon and Eddie Trunk, but it appears he now may have been muzzled.

When Adler got on the phone with Rolling Stone a few weeks later, he was less willing to share anything about Guns N’ Roses. “I had the best experience last year playing with them last year,” he says. “I wish Izzy [Stradlin] was there, but it was so great since I finally got to have some closure. It was wonderful. I don’t have nothing else to say about it. I’m really sorry. That’s all I can tell you. There’s nothing to say. I literally, literally honest to god literally, I can’t even tell you why I can’t tell you any more. Literally, okay? I really can’t. I just can’t.”

Adler said in an interview that he had to sign a legal document to even meet with Slash and Duff McKagan last year to discuss potentially reuniting, though he makes no specific references in his Rolling Stone interview to a legal threat, but implies he can no longer discuss Guns N’ Roses’ reunion.
