Howard Stern confirmed that he heard Rage Against The Machine will reunite on his show on Wednesday. Zack de la Rocha reunited with Tom Morello in Los Angeles a few days ago.
MarksFriggin.com recapped: Howard said on the SiriusXM app they have a Howard Stern section and they have started this great thing where bands come in and do their music and they post it up there. He said they have exclusive performances from Collective Soul, Gin Blossoms, Sponge and more. He said he played some songs yesterday. He said he loves that band Sponge. He played their cover of ”Vasoline.” Howard said he likes that guy Vinnie. He said he has an interesting look. He said he looks like he’ll beat your ass. He said he has that Greaser look. He said he has the chain on his wallet. He said he sings like an angel. He said he kind of digs him. Howard said he wonders about when he started singing and if he took shit from his friends. Howard said he loves his singing. He played more of their cover of Vasoline.
Howard said Goo Goo Dolls covered Sponge’s song ”Plowed.” He played some of that too. Howard said there were some great bands in the 90s. Robin said she’s thinking it might happen again. Howard said there’s some stuff that he just doesn’t get. He said he’s very steeped in the 90s. He said he listens to Lithium there on SiriusXM. He said there’s a channel he listens to and he can’t remember the name of it. Gary asked if it’s Spectrum. Howard said that’s it.
Zack de la Rocha revealed his new expensive car recently. Howard said there’s this guy Demos he likes. Gary said he worked at K-Rock. Howard said he didn’t know that. He said he’s kind of interesting. Robin said Tom Morello was on Lithium and all of the music he plays are bands that he was in. Howard said he’s good too. He said he heard that Rage Against the Machine is getting back together. He said if he wasn’t such a lazy ass he would go see them.
Howard said he lives such a pure life. Robin said you have to have pure thoughts too. Howard said he’s not sure about that. Howard Stern revealed if Billy Corgan is a good or bad singer yesterday.
