The Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood’s ex-wife Jo discussed drunk driving with Keith Richards in a new Daily Mail article, describing how there’s no way they could have gotten away with it today. Keith Richards using heroin with a famous model was recently detailed.

“Keith was very naughty. He had a Bentley that we used to drive around Paris in. It was a very different time then, and it’s hard to believe now that it didn’t occur to us that drink-driving might be a problem. We’d just get in the car and drive off at seven in the morning after a night in the studio.”

The Rolling Stones are rumored to be working on a new album, and fans on Reddit suggested they should make a lighter sounding album at their old age as they are all approaching 80 years old. Slacabormorinico posted, “Who knows if there will be a other Stones studio album, but I was thinking today I love their country songs, and at 70 plus years old, country acoustic might be better suited for this stage of career / life than hard rocking expectations that just don’t work. I love Dead Flowers, Country Honk, their cover of Bob Wills is Still the King, etc. Maybe Mick’s grandkids are on the Reddit group and can make a suggestion to Sir Mick.”

Keith Richards claiming he’s the father of a bandmate’s daughter was just revealed. Justagigilo123 commented, “Far Away Eyes.” Nei-Yeh responded, “Don’t know the story behind this one, but I always thought it was kind of done tongue-in-cheek, not making fun of country music, but exaggerating it just to the point of being a little silly in a way. kind of like ‘we’re gonna make the most cliche country of country songs.’ Especially if you listen to some of the live versions.

having said that, the Stripped album was genius and ‘age appropriate’ at the time, and they have like 50 more songs just from their own catalog they could revisit and give the unplugged treatment. but yeah, they would absolutely kill doing any number of classic country songs.”
