Kid Rock, while undeniable a controversial and newsworthy musician is someone that without a doubt has a fine appreciation for not only automobiles but all things Detroit. The native Detroiter will be auctioning off one of his prized cars – that being a 2005 Ford GT. As FOX News reports, the one-time American Music Award winner will be delivering this particular automobile auction at the RM Sotheby’s event in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Saturday, March 26. It should be noted that as the original owner of this fabulous supercar, Kid Rock has only put 3,096 miles on it since it was produced.

Kid Rock recently named these A-list musicians ‘in the closet’. However, it should be noted that this car will, without question, come with a heavy price tag as the value of a perfectly preserved one can fetch $450,000 on the low-end, while the current pre-auction estimate, and factoring in the celebrity of Kid Rock, has the car value sitting at well over half a million dollars – $575.000.

In other news concerning Kid Rock, according to USA Today, the one-time potential Senate candidate was asked by controversial television personality, Tucker Carlson, “Why haven’t you been canceled? during a recent appearance on his program ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight.’ Kid Rock would respond by proclaiming: “I am uncancellable – Because I don’t give an (expletive). I’m not in bed with any big corporate things. At the end of the day, there’s nobody I’m beholden to — no record companies, no corporate interests, no nothing. You can’t cancel me,” Kid Rock said. “I love it when they try.”

The Bawitdaba singer would, in addition, defend the speaking style of the former president, Donald Trump as he would also say in a piece that was included on Carlson’s Instagram page: “Trump speaks off the cuff, I understand what that’s like, sometimes you get it wrong,” said Kid Rock, who appreciates Trump for not being “contrived” or “scripted” like other politicians. “I’ve stood next to him in the White House with the prepared notes and watched him read like one sentence and then it’s like, ‘Let’s go.’ You’re like, this is awesome.”
