It’s barely been two weeks since Lisa Marie Presley’s unexpected passing, but tabloid superstars TMZ in conjunction with Fox have already put a TV special into production. Who is funding this special? Who knows. What we do know is that the special will chronicle events leading to Marie’s death. It is a tragic time for the Presley family, and Lisa’s remaining children. It is outrageous that TMZ and Fox would consider such a thing so soon. But, that’s Hollywood for you.
As per Variety, Fox has released a first look at the upcoming television special circulating the events of the death of Lisa Marie Presley titled: “TMZ Investigates: Lisa Marie Presley: Unending Tragedy,” which premieres Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. PT on the network.
The all-new special will look into the death of Lisa Marie Presley, the musician and only child of Elvis Presley, who died on Jan. 12 at the age of 54, promising “never-before-heard details.” The special will also delve into Presley’s personal life, including her marriage to Michael Jackson.
“TMZ Investigates: Lisa Marie Presley: Unending Tragedy” is executive-produced by Harvey Levin, Don Nash, Charles Latibeaudiere, Ryan Regan and Jess Fusco with co-executive producer Susan Favre. Viewers can watch with On Demand, Fox NOW, Hulu and FOX Entertainment’s streaming platform, Tubi.
