Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin recently returned to the studio. Stradlin released “F.P. Money” with his ex-Guns N’ Roses bandmate Matt Sorum earlier this year, and his last full length solo album was 2010’s Wave of Heat. It is unknown if Stradlin is working on a new album or another single.

MSL shared rumors regarding what Guns N’ Roses’ financial offer was to Izzy Stradlin to make cameo appearances at their 2016 concerts on GNRTruth last month.

“In Izzy’s defense, 140 characters is a tough way to explain a complicated and nuanced situation.

But we know Izzy was in rehearsals at one point and was negotiating to appear at a few of the April gigs. Equal pay was never discussed. A 5 figure fee per cameo is what was being negotiated. but there is a lot of room for negotiation on a 5 figure fee. 10k? 99k?

Whatever it was, they were far apart and Izzy bailed. He doesn’t need their chump change and they don’t need to throw away a bunch of money on a guy that isn’t gonna sell many tix.”

Izzy Stradlin has responded to his former Guns N’ Roses bandmate Axl Rose’s claims about why he isn’t involved in the band’s reunion.

Stradlin tweeted, “Bullshit They didn’t want to split the loot equally . Simple as that . Moving right along……..”

Axl Rose recently told Globo, “Steven did join us. At the same time I have no idea, when this started Steven had just had back surgery. So I don’t have any idea about that. With Izzy, it’s something I can’t really describe. I don’t really know what to say about Izzy. You could have a conversation and think it’s one way, then the next day, it’s another way. So I’m not trying to take any shots at Izzy, but his thing is his thing. Whatever that is.”

Stradlin’s tweet proves months of rumors that the reason why he isn’t involved in the Guns N’ Roses reunion is due to a financial offer that wasn’t comparable to Slash and Duff McKagan’s offers.
