The Melvins have announced that Buzz Osbourne and his bandmates will perform with the surviving members of Soundgarden on Wednesday at the Chris Cornell tribute show at the Forum in Los Angeles. If Tad fronting Soundgarden was Tadgarden, I guess this is Buzzgarden?
“The Melvins, who are currently touring as a four-piece: Buzz Osborne (vocals/guitar), Dale Crover (drums/vocals), Steven McDonald (bass) and JD Pinkus (Bass), will join members of Soundgarden for a performance at this Wednesday’s I Am The Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell.”
Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell and former Nine Inch Nails drummer Josh Freese will join the reunited surviving members of Soundgarden, the surviving members of Audioslave, the surviving members of Temple of the Dog, Foo Fighters, Metallica, and Ryan Adams at the ‘I Am The Highway: A Tribute To Chris Cornell’ show on Wednesday at the Forum in Los Angeles. Faith No More singer Mike Patton will also be a special guest, and The Pretty Reckless singer Taylor Momsen is rumored to attend as she recently flew into Los Angeles.
Perry Farrell’s wife Etty posted on Instagram to announce his appearance, “THIS. Perry will be one of the special guests…Tickets are still available and being that the proceeds will go to charities that @vickycornell and Chris hold near and dear, @ebmrf and @chrisandvickycornellfoundation, we do not have a guest list, TY❣️#chriscornell #legend #alwaysinmymind #inourhearts #onlythegooddieyoung.”
Josh Freese posted on Instagram, “Looking forward to playing some drums next week with a lot of old friends on this special night.”
