Pearl Jam Radio will broadcast Mike McCready: In Conversation with Alice In Chains’ Jerry Cantrell on Wednesday at 7PM EST on SiriusXM. There will be repeats on Thursday September 20th at 8AM EST, Friday September 21st at 12PM EST, Saturday September 22nd at 10AM EST, and Sunday September 23rd at 6PM EST.
Alice In Chains’ official tour blog reported in June that Alice In Chains members Jerry Cantrell and Sean Kinney were recently interviewed by Mike McCready for Pearl Jam Radio backstage at the NOS Alive festival.
The Baldy wrote, “Mike McCready and I also shared a manly embrace before he stole Sean & Jerry and took them to his dressing room where he interviewed them for Pearl Jam’s channel on Sirius/XM.
Our final European festival of 2018 was filled with great music, good friends, multiple hugs, Jack White playing foosball in the dressing room compound, and Sean & Larry! taking pictures together in the festival photo booth.
It doesn’t get much better than that.”
Jerry Cantrell has performed with Pearl Jam as a guest in the past, including at an epic 2009 show in Los Angeles that also featured an appearance by Chris Cornell to reunite Temple of the Dog. You can watch video of Cantrell’s performance with Pearl Jam from 2009 below.
