Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder recently announced (or strongly implicated) that the band will play in Chicago this summer at a solo gig with the ‘Earthlings’ on Thursday. A fan named Craig posted on the PearlJam.com Ten Club board, “EV said “see you this summer” at the end of his set tonight in Chicago. Maybe a show at at Wrigley/UC or lollapalooza? My GFs theory is maybe he’s coming to Chicago to hangout on Chris Chelios’ boat 😂.”

Pearl Jam recently canceled a show

Pearl Jam were previously scheduled to perform in Baltimore, MD in 2022, two years after postponing the concert. The Eddie Vedder-fronted band was scheduled to perform at the Royal Farms Arena, but fans are now getting bad news. Unfortunately, the show has now been called off. The show has been canceled after it was previously postponed. The band’s official website confirmed the news. They did not announce any ticketing options, but they have assured that the ticket holders would be refunded. The rest of the tour is still on as of now.

Pearl Jam’s official website saw a statement which read:

“We are disappointed to share that we have had to cancel the previously postponed Baltimore, MD show. The building is closing for upcoming renovations and is unable to reschedule a new date. We cannot announce any new ticketing options at this time but hope to be able to take care of fans impacted by this cancellation in the future. All ticket holders will receive an email with refund information.”

Due to the global pandemic, Pearl Jam has yet to tour with their latest album ‘Gigaton’. However, they are already thinking about who they want to work with on their successor, and it involves none other than the pop star Justin Bieber’s co-writer.  Eddie Vedder revealed that the band hopes to get into the studio with Andrew Watt, the influential producer who worked on Vedder’s upcoming solo album, ‘Earthling’.
