PearlJamOnline reports that Green River has reissued Come On Down via Jackpot Records, available now here.

The Come On Down reissue edition has been mastered from the original master tapes by original producer and recording engineer Chris Hanzsek (Soundgarden, Melvins) as well as a tape transfer by Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden). The record will also include the iconic original cover artwork, a rare, unreleased bonus track (Your Own Best Friend) and a printed inner sleeve with the lyrics and a photo of the original master tape box.

Green River were formed in 1984 by vocalist/guitarist Mark Arm, guitarist Steve Turner, drummer Alex Vincent and bassist Jeff Ament. Guitarist Stone Gossard joined the band later to allow Arm to concentrate on singing. Turner left in 1985 and was replaced by Bruce Fairweather.

Mudhoney have a new album coming, their first in 4 years. They shot a music video on Saturday according to a tweet from a few days ago.
