Pearl Jam have released their 2017 Holiday Single. The first track is a soundcheck version of “Alive” featuring original drummer Dave Krusen, recorded prior to the band’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performance on April 7, 2017. The second track is a new cover of Chuck Berry’s “Around and Around,” recorded during a rehearsal for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 30, 2017. See photos below, and Merry Christmas!

Pearl Jam have released a short ‘Happy Holidays’ video for Ten Club members as Christmas approaches, and some fans on the Ten Club board picked up on a very interesting detail regarding the video.

JoJoRice posted, “Check this out……The picture behind them is of the old Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. Could they possibly be in Atlanta and recording with Brendan O’Brien? :)”

Pearl Jam have recorded in Atlanta with producer Brendan O’Brien in the past. Atlanta is one of O’Brien’s favorite places to record, with Stone Temple Pilots even naming the No. 4 track “Atlanta” after the city they recorded in with O’Brien.

Of course, Pearl Jam could just have up an Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium photo in their headquarters, and it could be nothing, but the band are planning their most extensive tour in a few years in 2018 with tour dates already announced in Europe and South America. Pearl Jam usually only hit multiple countries when they are touring a new album, and the band last recorded Lightning Bolt in 2013.

You mean the 2016 annual single… worth the wait though!

Good god, O’Brien left Atlanta before Lightning Bolt. He had a split with Southern Tracks bc the guy that took over had a big beef with him. Old news now.

Big news would be if BOB ever returned to Atlanta and/or Southern Tracks. I don’t believe he has.

I love to listen to Avocado 2017 mix album.

You’ve published the bottom part of the story twice in a matter of days, think I’ll post it under every comment along with an unrelated story.

I would like to reiterate that my friend on the Red Sox
ground crew indicates that PJ asked for a 3 night hold over the summer.
Also of note a 3 night hold was also requested from the Foo Fighters and
Zac Brown Band. Mentioned the “suits” want 12-15 shows this summer.

jamming his head out of the Green Monster last summer, and posted the
    setlists early.
