Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder teased a snippet of a song that he is writing for the #ComeSayHi campaign and on behalf of the EB Research Partnership. It is Vedder’s first new solo song since “Out of Sand” for Twin Peaks in 2017. Founded in 2010 by a group of dedicated parents and Jill and Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, EB Research Partnership is the largest 501c3 nonprofit funding research to find a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). EB is a group of devastating and life-threatening genetic skin disorders that affect children from birth. RELATED: Vedder recently discussed how while on tour, he met a doctor who is working on curing a rare disease.

Vedder said, “Well hello Eli, Lilly, this means a lot to me because your story is incredibly powerful.  You know, my family and I have been working with a group called EB Research Partnership and have been committed to finding a cure and finding it quickly. Having you represent that community, it means so much and it takes a lot of courage and we admire you immensely.

So a big hello to you out there and a big thank you for all this hard work to make this world a more understanding and inclusive place. Right now, I’m going to finish this song that I’m so inspired to write for Eli. I’ll have it done the next time I see ya.” Eddie Vedder’s wife recently made a ‘horrific’ claim about the disease.
