  • Felonious Punk

So wait…they’re flying all the way out to Ohio (of all places) for a one-off show in an as-yet undetermined location, and then coming all the way back across the country a month later to start their actual tour in VA? Am I missing something here?

      • Felonious Punk

Okay? That still doesn’t explain why they’re flying cross-country to play one show in Ohio, and then going all the way back to the east coast a month later to begin their tour..

        • You’re obviously not aware of what’s going in the world or with this group. They started it as a fuck you to Donald Trump and him being the nominee for Republican Party. The Republican National Convention is just about to start and it’s being held in Ohio this year, hence their first official concert for the tour being there.

          • Felonious Punk

You obviously are mistaken in thinking I give a fuck about Trump or the National Republic Convention then.

What I DO know is that this is a mediocre version of RATM that in sure you’ll be one of the first in line to see. Have at it, sport..

          • Deff Dinkle

I’m obviously mistaken in thinking I’m cool. Mom and grams always told me so an I would hate the world even more then now if it turned out they were lying to their fat, bigoted, closeted homosexual of a relative. Tss tss fawk yea right bro?

          • Felonious Punk

            lol good one, Beefer

I’m calling dibs on the “Hinkle Dink” name, too

          • It’s not giving a fuck about anything, you didn’t know why they were doing something, I told you why, you’re welcome.

Now instead of commenting on every thread that’s posted here, you actually pay attention to the world around you, instead of acting like some tough Internet talking child. Then maybe you would know why a purely political band would play a one off show in Clevland before main tour starts.

          • Beefcake

Hmm…you know, I doubt a purely political band would charge $ for albums, tickets and merch.

Even The Clash did a better job when it came to fucking their fans. I.E. selling a double or triple LP for the price of one and they were still chastised for “selling out”

          • Felonious Punk

Yea, but they’re “playing a free show for fans”, he’ll say..

Prophets of Rage are a joke. It’s like “we can’t be fucked to get the real singer, so let’s get a couple of stand-ins, exploit the upcoming election, and go make some mooooooney!!!”

There’s a sucker born every minute. Pumpkinhead Cliften up there will attest to that..

          • Beefcake

            Well said mate lol

Pretty sad they are not only exploiting the current political state of affairs but throwing their “integrity” in the fire in one fell swoop. I don’t blame Zach for avoiding this embarrassment of a ‘movement’.

Those other blokes from RATM are all about the $ no doubt. The mortgages and marriages aren’t going to pay for themselves 🙂

          • Felonious Punk

lol right? Guess they got tired of waiting for Chris to cal up with the offer of an Audioslave reunion.

I guess a 60 year old Chuck D and the burnout from Cypress Hill will have to do..

          • Beefcake

Thankfully. Audiovisual were -alright- but the last thing I’d like to see Chris devote his time

          • Felonious Punk

Again, you presume I give a fuck because…why?

lol @ the “internet tough guy” putdown. What you need to do is figure out a way to get that chunky pumpkin head of yours to fit in the allotted space of your Disqus avatar before you start lobbing insults, slick.

You have a problem with me commenting on every headline? He’s an idea: don’t read the comments then. It’s not like anyone remembers you from day to day with the boring drivel you post here anyway. Have fun at your pseudo-Rage Republican Convention or whatever it is. I’ll be spending money to see real bands this summer..

          • Beefcake

            Wait…Tony Clifton = Andy Kaufman…

Holy shit he lives! I always knew ol’ Andy was having a massive go with us all these years. And to think he’s been hiding out at AltNation all this time.

That is some DaVinci Code level shite…

        • ANRmanager

That would be a question for Prophets of Rage, I don’t make the news, I just report it.

  • Load of bollocks. Multi-millionaires pretending they are not filthy rich only to start charging ticket prices the next day. Silly bastards.
