Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello has reiterated the claim from Zack de la Rocha that Malcolm X’s murder was part of a conspiracy.

He tweeted in response to a headline, “As Zack said quite clearly in 1992: ‘They murdered X and tried to blame it on Islam.'”

The Reuters headline stated, “Malcolm X’s family releases letter alleging FBI, police role in his death.”

Reuters reported, “Members of Malcolm X’s family have made public what they described as a letter written by a deceased police officer stating that the New York Police Department and FBI were behind the 1965 killing of the famed Black activist and civil rights advocate.”

The article later said, “Raymond Wood’s letter stated that he had been pressured by his NYPD supervisors to lure two members of Malcolm X’s security detail into committing crimes that resulted in their arrest just days before the fatal shooting. Those arrests kept the two men from managing door security at the ballroom and was part of conspiracy between the NYPD and FBI to have Malcolm killed, according to the letter.”

Malcolm X was a historical African American figure in the 60’s, later even getting a biopic starring Denzel Washington as Malcolm X. Malcolm X was assassinated in 1965.

Who killed Rage’s career? Such good work they did, but such a major mess they made about 20 years ago. Right when they had the reboot ready, poof went the Trump Virus. Hope their original fans had kids that are old enough to dig em if they continue with the reboot effort next year.
