Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea discussed asking a roadie to introduce him to a beautiful woman in a new interview.
“One of the big memories that I have in Toronto, I believe it was 1986, and we came here, and we played Lee’s Palace, iconic. I came there, played that show, and there was a girl standing in the audience, and I was looking at her thinking, ‘God, she’s so fucking beautiful, look at her.’ After the show, I said to my road, ‘Go get that girl, I really want to meet her.’
He came back in 15 minutes, ’She said if you’re too much of a pussy to go out there and talk to her, she doesn’t want to talk to you. She said it’s lame if you just send me.’ I was like, ‘Oh shit, okay.’ So I went out there and started talking to her, and we got married and had a baby. That was a big memory, I got a wife and a baby out of Lee’s Palace. That baby is now 28.”
