As we celebrate Father’s Day, it’s important to remembers the kids who longer have their dads.
Late Stone Temple Pilots singers Scott Weiland and Chester Bennington, who also fronted Velvet Revolver and Linkin Park respectively, tragically passed away in the last few years. The children of the legendary singers paid tribute to their dads on Father’s Day.
Scott’s daughter Lucy Weiland wrote, “Happy Fathers Day Daddy! I love and miss you so much, but I know your watching over me very proud of the women I’ve become. Thank you for being my guardian angel. ??”
Chester’s widow Talinda Bennington wrote, “Happy Father’s Day my love. I wish you were being woken up too early with breakfast in bed, hand drawn cards, and trinkets made from clay, all made with love by your babies. Instead,we send up paper lanterns with cards to you today. I love you so much that I can’t breathe today?.”

Chester Bennington died by suicide in July 2017 and Scott Weiland died from a drug overdose in December 2015.
