Late Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland and late Linkin Park and Stone Temple Pilots singer Chester Bennington tragically died in the last few years, and their widows are now paying tribute to CNN Parts Unknown host Anthony Bourdain, who died by suicide today at the age of 61.

Jamie Weiland wrote, “I had a momentary conversation with the beautiful @anthonybourdain in the Zankou Chicken (he loved that place) parking lot on Sunset in 2016…brief but stayed with me as he was so magnetic, and kind, and funny and warm. This news is heartbreaking…it’s the loss of an amazing soul and also a reminder that so many people, and maybe some you wouldn’t expect, are existing in terrible pain and few, or none, even know. ?”

Talinda Bennington wrote, “Anthony Bourdain. Kate Spade. Avicii. Chris Cornell. Chester Bennington. And too many more to type. Goodbye. I will never stop shining a light on the darkness that stole you from us. RIP.”

Chester Bennington died by suicide in July 2017 at the age of 41, while Scott Weiland died from a drug overdose in December 2015 at 48 years old.
