On Monday, the Rock bands, Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails have announced some of their first shows in 2022.

Smashing Pumpkins set to do their first show in central Illinois for the first time in 15 years

The former will be warmly welcomed to central Illinois for the first time in 15 years. They will be making their Summer Camp debut joining over 100 other artists on multiple stages with 3 days of music, camping, and celebration at the venue. Smashing Pumpkins recently suffered a huge loss as they announced the death of a producer.

The Chicago-based alt-rockers will join host bands moe. and Umphrey’s McGee, along with 100 other artists, over Memorial Day weekend at Three Sisters Park, the fest announced Monday.

The Early Bird ticket pricing will be available through Wednesday, December 8th at 11:59pm CT.

Nine Inch Nails is set to headline Primavera Sound LA

On the other hand, Nine Inch Nails is scheduled to headline Primavera Sound LA. The festival will take place on September 16-18 next year at the Los Angeles State Historic Park. The COVID-19 pandemic had canceled the event back in 2020. Jerry Cantrell recently revealed that Nine Inch Nails ‘Made A Turn’.

Primavera Sound Los Angeles 2022 is the first U.S. edition of the long-running Barcelona music festival Primavera Sound and has announced its first batch of performers. Alongside Nine Inch Nails, New Zealand pop icon Lorde, and alt-Brit rockers Arctic Monkeys will headline the three-day festival.

They are among 59 confirmed artists for the gathering. Also scheduled to appear are James Blake, Mitski, Kink Rule, Cigarettes After Sex and ex-Sonic Youth member Kim Gordon. Elsewhere on the bill are Arca, Bad Gyal, Bicep, Buscabulla, Clairo, Darkside, Dry Cleaning, Fontaines D.C., Helena Hauff, Khruangbin, Little Jesus, Low, Paloma Mama, Special Interest, John Talabot and Tierra Whack, among others.

Tickets, starting at $399 for general admission, will go on sale starting on Friday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m. The original Primavera Sound returns to Barcelona June 2 – 12, 2022, after a year hiatus. Headliners include Due Lipa, Massive Attack and Megan Thee Stallion.
