Mitch Lafon reports that former Guns N’ Roses members Izzy Stradlin and Matt Sorum were photographed together at the 29th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival this past weekend. Stradlin and Sorum are the highest profile members of the classic Guns N’ Roses to not participate at all in the Not In This Lifetime tour.
The pair were photographed with Stevie Salas, who has his own Guns N’ Roses connection. Salas jammed with one of Axl Rose’s Chinese Democracy Guns N’ Roses lineups in early 2000 at a recording studio in Los Angeles. They played such classic songs as “Welcome To the Jungle,” “It’s So Easy,” “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “Paradise City” and “You Could Be Mine.” The jam session went on for about 5 hours and reportedly, they really rocked!
