Taylor Hawkins First Autopsy Results Revealed

The Rock and Roll World, this entertainment news outlet including is mourning the loss of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. Hawkins passed away at the young age of fifty on March 25th, 2022. The death would be confirmed by the Foo Fighters’ official social media channels and the tragic event would take place while the group was on tour in South America. The festival stage where the band was scheduled to perform was converted into a candlelight vigil for the late performer. Before the death of Hawkins, the Foo Fighters were scheduled to make an appearance at this year’s Grammy Awards. Dave Grohl would address the future of the group following the bandmates’ tragic passing.

In an update to this story, The Daily Mail is reporting that forensic experts, who did an examination found that Hawkins’ heart weighed double the size of what it should be as its weight at his time of passing was “at least 600 grams,” double the average of 300 to 350 grams.

According to a police officer on the scene and as reported to acclaimed Colombian reporter Luis Carlos Velez there was a “cocaine-looking powder” as well as hallucinogens that were allegedly seen in the hotel. In addition, Velez would state that authorities found an empty beer can, an opened bottle of vodka, a Coca-Cola bottle, and some ‘other articles’ being analyzed by authorities.”

Further, in the same toxicology test, it is also being reported that there were ten types of substances found in the drummer including marihuana, tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and opioids. The Attorney General’s office in Columbia is continuing the investigation behind Hawkins’ death, which is currently being cited as a ‘cardiovascular collapse’, according to the Daily Mail who cited two Columbia-based news outlets. However, it should be noted there has been contiditary information regarding these reports.
