Tool Debut Big Name Guitarist At Last 2022 Show

Tool was performing at the O2 Arena in Prague on Monday, May 23, when they had a pleasant surprise for fans.

According to Metal Injection, the band invited Austrian guitarist Bernth on stage. Bernth is known for his skills in shredding his guitar. He performed a version of their track Opiate on stage.

Bernth then thanked the band for giving him an opportunity to perform with them.

Writing on Instagram, he wrote Tool for one of the BEST nights of his life. “I had the honor of performing a guest solo with them on stage at yesterday’s show in the O2 arena in Prague!

Thanks, @adamjones_tv for inviting me, it truly means the world and I will never forget this moment – thanks for the hospitality, the kindness, the fun gear talk, and the amazing memories. And thanks to their awesome crew for the quick and effortless setup, soundcheck, and help!”

The sweet and grateful message was posted along with a number of pictures, one of them featuring Bernth sitting with Jones. He appears to be holding a Silverburst Gibson Les Paul in the picture. According to Guitar Worldthe guitar appears to be fitted with FOMOfx’s Virtual Jeff Pro virtual whammy bar.
