Tool Fan Calls Out Drummer’s Arrest At Concert

A Tool fan seemingly called out the band’s drummer Danny Carey being arrested not too long ago. The fan seems to have attended Tool’s live concert this past week. The Tool fan had some fun, wearing a ‘Free Danny Carey’ shirt to poke fun at the drummer’s recent arrest. Carey has been with the group since their inception, drumming for Tool since 1990. The group is currently embarking on a sprawling 2022 United States tour. This took place the other night at the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon on January, 10th.

Tool recently resumed touring

Tool went out live on January 10th for a concert at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, OR to open the US leg of their 2022 Fear Inoculum tour. They also performed live in Tacoma, WA on January 11.  The alternative metal legends were planning for a major tour in support of their latest album Fear Inoculum back in Spring 2020 before the global pandemic stopped them in their tracks. And now after that 18-month break, they are back on road.

Tool are playing in North America and Europe throughout the winter and early spring of 2022, 3 years after the release of their comeback album ‘Fear Inoculum.’ Maynard James Keenan has kept busy with his wine business and Puscifer.

Fans noted how the band worked on the visuals on this tour as they are downright astonishing and are worth the concert on that alone. One of the fans on Reddit said the following on the fact: “I can’t speak for previous shows by Tool as their Tacoma show last night was my first time. But I came away from it with two thoughts on the visuals: 1) they know EXACTLY what they are doing to people taking hallucinogens to their show and 2) I’ll probably never see a better concert ever again in my life.”
