Tool issues to the fans

Ahead of their scheduled show at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids,MI, it was noted how the band issued a notice to the fans who would be attending the show.

The venue sent out a Tweet saying: “Tool respectfully requests that you please watch & listen to the show, not your phone. TOOL has a strict NO Photo, video or audio recording policy, including with a cell phone. You will be ejected from the show without a refund if you elect to take photos of the performance.”

Tool recently performed live in concert at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. One of the fans, ToolLover420 posted on Reddit about the show and disclosed a person in attendance was escorted out of the concert.

The fan revealed that a person next to him was escorted out of the concert and he claimed it was only two minutes into the first song of the concert. He further revealed that the person was noted to be recording video.

The fan wrote: “The guy next to me got kicked out 2 minutes into the first song for recording video, so I enjoyed the extra legroom lol. The crowd at the main entrance was cringe and aggressive, but everyone was chill at the side entrance. I got there 2 hours before doors opened and still got a poster, so no idea why you’d want to camp out or show up at 7 am.”

Another incident also came into light that Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan called up a fan dumber than his seven-year old. Maynard had already used this insult at another recent show. The group’s current tour will be March 20th domestically in the United States where the last US show will be at the Rocket Mortage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. From there the band will play internationally until May 24th – a show which will be held at the Budapest Arena in Budapest, Hungary
