Tool guitarist Adam Jones has sent fans into a frenzy by uploading a new video with the caption: ‘#BeSeenAndNotHeard.’ The video appears to show the making of the band’s new album.
Johnnyoz posted on the Tool Reddit:
“It’s a spectrum analyzer. Measuring frequency and amplitude. This looks like a mastering suite of some sort. I am an audio engineer and can’t quite make out which program this is. Could be just mixing plug in. I couldn’t tell with the image morphing . It’s hard to say if this is a full band mix but when you start seeing this stuff it’s a good sign!”
Dharqness commented on the Tool Reddit:
“The program is Pro Tools, and that plugin is HOFA IQ-series Analyzer. I don’t think they’re in the mastering stage yet but this could definitely be an indicator of the recording being finished.”

“Well somebody just replied to my latest post that a friend of Adams brother said they are done recording and moving onto mixing. So if that’s what this is it further backs that claim.”
