Travis Barker has had his fair shares of intimate relationships. For those counting, Travis has been married three times and, of course, has had a slew of girlfriends through his career. With Travis Barker getting back into the spotlight heavily via his music production work and marrying Kourtney Kardashian; it was a matter of time before some people from his past would step forward to speak openly about him.
Enter Sophie Monk. She could be seen in the 2004 music video, ‘Always’ by Blink-182 kissing Travis Barker very passionately. Sophie recently revealed what it was like to experience Travis Barker.
Sophie had stated: (He’s) Really soft, definitely not Hollywood,’ she said of the rocker.”
This is a take that many have had previously about Travis Barker as his onstage persona is very loud, but outside of all of that, he’s been known to be very quiet and reserved.
She continues: “(He’s) Not arrogant. Quiet. He keeps to himself and his own circle of friends. He’s just lovely.”
Now, this would make it seem that Sophie Monk was interested in the drummer, but as she went on – it was obvious that she had no feelings for him at all. In fact, she stated that she would take advantage of his kindness. Yikes.
Sophie said: “I gotta say, when I watch it (The Kardashians), and (Kourtney Kardashian) What do you want to drink?” and he says ‘I’ll have whatever you’re having baby.’ And I think ‘No!’ I need someone with their own mind.”
As she continues on, she closed with a huge bombshell of a statement about how she feels about Travis Barker which left a sour taste in the mouths of many Blink-182 fans: “I need someone to pull my head in. You’d walk over him. I would take full advantage of that.”
