However, Kid Rock had offered a very different explanation. In a resuraced clip from May 2025 that has gone viral again, he spoke on Fox News with Jesse Watters and claimed cultural issues were to blame for the low birth rate.
“We have this low birth rate in America.. Who’s going to sleep with these ugly ass broke liberal women? Look at their rallies… A bunch of women no guy wants to sleep with & a bunch of dudes that want to sleep each other.”
Social Media Backlash
Kid Rock’s comments divided people quickly. Some users agreed with him, saying dating has become difficult. Many others strongly disagreed and called his remarks offensive and disrespectful.
One public response came from Stella Parton, the sister of Dolly Parton. She pushed back online, writing, “Liberal women don’t sleep with stinky, nasty, dirty, poor-hygienic man babies. They marry and sleep with real men.”

This is not the first time Kid Rock has created a ton of backlash. In another TV appearance later in 2025, he made offensive jokes during a lighthearted segment, again drawing criticism.
