Metallica will play two nights with Nine Inch Nails, Jane’s Addiction, Korn, Judas Priest, Snoop Dogg, and other big names at the Louisville-based festival Louder Than Life on Sept. 23- 26. It will take place at the Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center. Staind, Rise Against, Mudvayne, Cypress Hill, Machine Gun Kelly, Anthrax, Gojira, Ghostemane, Seether, Pennywise, Beartooth, The Distillers, Killswitch Engage and others will also perform.

“‘Whiskey is for drinking; water is for fighting over’ – Mark Twain. And I’m on the lookout for the best drinking whiskey in Kentucky,” Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction said of the show in a statement.

Justin May commented on NIN’s Facebook, “Makes me feel a little better after the shit show that was trying to get tickets to the Cleveland shows. The Ticketmaster / Live Nation Concerts monopoly needs to be taken down. It is disgusting what fans have to go through these days to try to see their favorite bands.”

Sarah responded, “I remember being a little annoyed when the physical pre-sales happened but now I totally get it. I would HAPPILY wait in line for hours to get tickets if it meant I didn’t have to pay three times the price on Stub Hub.”

Martin added, “‘Headlining’ one day doesn’t mean they’re headlining the festival. I mean damn, Metallica is ‘headlining’ 2 of the 4 days.”
