Did anyone commenting here about “evil drugs” and not read the article? The dude had undiagnosed Aspergers until he was in his late 20’s i.e., severe mental issues and cognitive behavioral therapy is not enough to help him. He needs to be on medication which is why he sought out heavier drugs in the first place to ease the pain of his existence which in his confused mind is hell. Fucksakes its not like you people are mentally stable yourselves… me too I’m no hypocrite but I just smoke weed so my experience with despair is limited.

Perhaps it’s part of the reason he turned to drugs, but he is still responsible for the pain and destruction he has caused.

Mario, so what do you expect him to do to take “responsibility” for his mental health problems?

Travis has been arrest twice since getting out in march. On May 16 in Indiana hes was arrested for battery and june 16 in Kentucky for drugs burglary and fleeing from police. Love him but I feel hes a dead man walking or is going to end up in prison for a lon time. He has completely given up. Man I hope he pulls through.

Well, what hope is there after the reunion debacle? I was so happy when they got back together…

Looking healthy Travis. Hope the recovery is going well. We love you, and we miss you. Stay strong brother. We are all rooting for you.

Travis is such a brilliant and talented musician. I truly hope that he can find a way to kick that crappy drug. It just takes everything away from people and many times takes their lives too. I was just telling my 14-year old son about him last night. When I went up to my son’ room after school today, “Touch, Peel, and Stand” was playing on the radio. That’s when I checked up to see what Travis is up to and found out about the disaster concert and his arrest. I am hoping that he will finally get clean. He’s had a hard life. I wish you the best life has to offer, Travis.

People can say whatever they want about Travis – but the answers are in the songs. He’ll be back when he’s ready – if he’s willing to share MORE than what he already has with the lot of us.

All of you asshats talking about him squandering his talent over drugs and all that… get some perspective… listen to what he’s saying… create your own lives and quit thinking you know a better way for him to live… live your OWN perspective.

    That is all.

Well said bud… crazy how talented he is right?

He was locked up at the prison I worked at. I actually felt really bad for him. He tried to keep a low profile and do his time but it didn’t last long and people figured out who he was. Had to move him to seg with no contact for his safety. Guy just laid in bed for damn near a year – I quit before he got out not sure how much longer he was in there after that. To make it all worse the only form of entertainment in seg was a radio playing over a speaker and touch, peel, and stand was really popular at the time. The rest of the offenders in there heckled the shit out of him when it came on. He literally never talked at least the entire time I was there.

Do you know how he took to detoxing? I know thats a lot to ask but I always hoped he’d sober up in incarceration
