Eddie Vedder Tells Fans How To Deal With Feeling Alone

Eddie Vedder played his second Amsterdam solo show yesterday.

Roeland wrote on the PearlJam.com forums, “First show of the tour for me. Even though it was less intimate than the 2012 shows due to the larger venue and a lot of people running on and off during the show, it still didn’t feel like a 6.000 people show but more like a night with uncle Ed and friends around the campfire. Great setlist with some emotional moments from Ed before MOTH and in the first encore.

Brain Damage was played because a friend of Glen attended the show Saturday and told to Ed that the people in the white labcoats reminded her of people coming to take away the crazy people. Song of Good Hope was preceded by a story about Ed knowing the feeling of being alone and lost at times, especially when he was young, but that there’s always people out there to support you as well as music to get you back up.

Heroes and Comfortably numb were both just the first verse and refrain. On to tomorrow!”

Below is the setlist posted by Sea (via John) on the PearlJam.com forums.
