Following Nirvana’s reunion performance headlining the Cal Jam festival over the weekend, fans on Twitter are buzzing with hopes that the band will tour in 2019. Nirvana last toured in early 1994 before Kurt Cobain’s death ended the band in April.

Loudwire even posted an article about fans hoping for Seether’s Shaun Morgan to front a Nirvana reunion tour. We asked Morgan about this possibility in 2014 shortly after Nirvana reunited to perform at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Morgan said, “It would be something that I would love to do, but it’s not something that anyone has ever asked me to do. Obviously, just from being a kid, even just to play a show with those guys would be great. But it’s not something that I’ve ever been approached about doing, but obviously as a childhood dream, it would be great to be on stage with those guys.”
