Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan was interviewed on Jonesy’s Jukebox on KLOS yesterday, and in the interview McKagan revealed that he and Slash recently decided to surprise Axl Rose by traveling to London to attend his AC/DC concert.
“Slash and I went to London to surprise Axl…it was magical.”
He said that Rose ‘energized’ the band, and was ‘awesome.’ McKagan also discussed Axl breaking his foot at Guns N’ Roses’ Troubadour show in April. He said Axl didn’t complain once, but after the the show he told them: “I think I broke my foot.” Duff said he thinks everything happens for a reason, and he thinks that whole Axl breaking his foot episode brought them together even closer. The Guns N’ Roses bromance continues.
