Tom Morello recently celebrated the Rage Against The Machine’s three studio albums of original material, with the 19th anniversary of The Battle of Los Angeles and 26th anniversary of Rage Against The Machine approaching. He also mentioned his first album with Lock Up.

“#TheAtlasUnderground will be my 19th studio album. This was my first. ‘Something Bitchin’ This Way Comes’ by #LockUp. Funk rock, speedy solos. Fave tracks anyone? #YaGottaStartSomewhere.”

“2. RATM, SELF TITLED. The second record I had the honor of making was with Brad, Tim & Zack, this shot heard round the world. Released in Nov. 1992 this bad boy caused quite a ruckus. Fave song?”

“3. RATM, EVIL EMPIRE. The third album I had the privilege to make went to #1 in 1996 and was recorded raw & wild in a tiny rehearsal space in LA. Also began the long relationship with producer Brendan O’brien. Fave song?”

“4. RATM, THE BATTLE OF LOS ANGELES. The fourth album I got to make (the 3rd w/the mighty Tim, Brad & Zack) was produced by Brendan O’brien, entered the charts at #1, and topped Spin, Rolling Stone & Time Magazine’s ‘Album Of The Year’ lists. Fave song?”
