Photos of a new Chris Cornell display at the Seattle MoPOP museum have been uploaded by his official Instagram account. The Cornell Instagram page wrote, “On display at @MoPOPSeattle, Chris Cornell stage clothing (as seen in @plorkowski photo the statue is based on) , handwritten lyrics and more …. #johnvarvatos #hermes #maisonmargiela.”

One of the lyric pages is titled “Summer Zep Jam”. The lyrics though are to the Audioslave song “Dandelion”, revealing that the song’s original title was named after Led Zeppelin, one of Chris Cornell’s primary musical influences. There are also handwritten lyrics to the Soundgarden classic “Burden In My Hand”. This display is in conjunction with the new Chris Cornell statue at the MoPOP museum.

Nick Marras, who created the new Chris Cornell Seattle MoPOP statue, has shared new photos of the statue featuring different facial expressions from the late Soundgarden singer.

Marras wrote, “The many faces of Chris Cornell . I experimented with various expressions in the process . These are always journeys to a destination. #chriscornell #nickmarrastudios #sculpture #bronze #soundgarden #audioslave #templeofthedog #mopopseattle #nickmarrasculptor #likeness #likenesssculpture.”

Marras also recently wrote on Instagram, “I love this photo taken in the rain – the beads of rain rolling off their son of Seattle – fitting .
