Tool recently headlined the Download Festival, and they got rave reviews. A funny photo was also taken of Maynard James Keenan bending over in his awesome mohawk wig! The new Tool album release date in August 30th.

Louder Sound wrote, “Their sense of humour…Who else has a digital laser clock counting down to their encore? Who else performs in wigs? Who else has a dry sense of humour that verges on the surreal and the critical? Whether it’s onstage, online or in those cerebral lyrics, Tool have a certain brand of wit that isn’t found in any other band.”

Leicester Mercury reported, “In fact now Tool, as much for their reclusiveness as their music, have hit Bucket List band status. They truly are a top tier act, and this fact is demonstrated in the fact about a quarter of T shirts in the arena bear their name, easily more than any other act on the bill all weekend.

This is, without a doubt, the main event. Sure, Def Leppard poured some sugar on Friday night, Slipknot delivered big time on Saturday, and Slayer bid farewell to these shores on the second stage this evening.

You could perhaps argue that left field inclusion Die Antwoord or Mongolian metallers The Hu could stake a claim for the must-see show of the weekend. But that ended when Tool took to the Download stage.”
